Robert Chiste, Director and Chairman of the Board
Bob is President, CEO, and Chairman of Comverge, Inc. Bob is also a Director of FuelQuest, a business-to business fuel and lubricant e-commerce enterprise. Formerly, Bob was President, Industrial Services Group, of Philip Services Corp.; Vice Chairman, President, and CEO of Allwaste, Inc.; and CEO and President of American National Power, Inc. Bob also served as Senior Vice President of Transco Energy Company. Bob has served as an executive and director of a number of public companies. He is a co-founder of several technology companies including iMark, Inc., FuelQuest, Inc., and TriActive, Inc.

Bob received a BA in mathematics from the College of New Jersey, as well as JD and MBA degrees from Rutgers University.

Scott Irwin, Director
Scott is a General Partner at El Dorado Ventures. His investment practice focuses on enterprise software and infrastructure. Scott serves on the Board of Directors at Elite Optoelectronics, GetActive, Skytide, and TriActive. Prior to El Dorado, Scott held software engineering and product management positions with Accenture. His early career experience was with the communications systems division of Rockwell International, later acquired by Alcatel.

Scott received a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he was a Venture Fellow and Welsh Scholar.

Steven P. Williams, Director
Steve is a Managing Director of Sierra Ventures, a $1 billion venture capital organization headquartered in Menlo Park, California. Prior to joining Sierra, Steve was the EVP and COO of Marimba, Inc., where he established worldwide sales and field service operations, helped guide product plans and business strategy, and managed Marimba's consulting and customer support operations. He was instrumental in Marimba's highly successful IPO. Earlier, Steve served as Western VP of Sales at Tivoli Systems, helping to formulate Tivoli's sales model, value proposition, hiring profiles, compensation plans, and product pricing. Steve managed more than 100 employees prior to Tivoli's $750 million sale to IBM.

Steve holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.

David Dame, Director
David brings 20 years of IT operating and investment experience to Key Venture Partners and has focused mostly on software, both infrastructure and applications. David joined the firm from IBM's Emerging Technology Group where he was responsible for investments in emerging technology business opportunities, specializing in the next generation of the Internet. Prior to this, David spent 15 years in the IT industry in a wide range of operating, consulting, and business development roles. Operational positions with IBM included systems engineering, sales, R&D, and corporate strategy. He was also a Principal in the IBM Consulting Group's "IT Strategy and Planning" consulting practice, starting a practice in the intermountain region and growing it into a multi-million dollar business.

David holds a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Poul Nielsen, CEO & President
Poul has more than 20 years of experience in systems management including executive management positions with Altiris, Computing Edge, and Computer Associates. At Altiris, Poul served as VP of Product Strategy, Marketing, and Corporate Development. Under Poul's direction, Altiris pioneered the concept of IT Lifecycle Management, and Computing Edge's Web-based architecture served as the platform for Altiris' suite of solutions. Altiris acquired Computing Edge in 2000 where Poul was President and COO. In the late 90s, Poul served as AVP of Research and Development at Computer Associates and was responsible for elements of Unicenter TNG. Poul started his career at Digital Equipment Corporation where he spent 12 years in various development, program management, and technical director roles.

Poul received a BS in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University.
